The Neighbourhoods of the World

MINOS 344 (1979)

Poetry written in 1949 inspired by the demonstrations of the Athenian people and the armed clashes between EAM-ELAS (National Liberation Front) and British and governmental forces to curb British influence in Greece after the end of World War II. The music was composed in 1978 with elements from the ancient tragedy and the traditional music. The album was released next year with engravings by Tassos on the cover.
