Recording of a concert at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, January 1996. The Symphonietta is a classical composition (chamber music) by Theodorakis, written in 1947. The State of Siege, a composition of 1968 during the exile of the composer in Zatouna, Arcadia, belongs to his post-symphonic works. This recording is the second one, again with Maria Farantouri in the female voice, and, now, Costas Thomaidis as the male singer.
