Maria Farantouri and Fotini Velesiotou in an unexpected collaboration for an evening of memory and honour. The concert of the two performers opens the events organized by the Greek Communist Party and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the execution of 200 National Resistance fighters by the Nazis on May Day 1944 in Kaesariani.

Two iconic voices -Maria Farantouri as a leading expression of the authentic entechno song (Art Greek Song) and Fotini Velesiotou as a unique interpreter of the laiko song (song of and for the people)- meet for the first time on stage and, guided by music and poetry, they take us on an unpredictable musical journey with excellent musicians as companions.
