MIKRI ARKTOS – MA 15232-68 (2016)
We warmly thank the poets who give value to non-existence and meaning to infinity, write, among other words, in their note of thanks, in their debut album, the two young songwriters from Crete, who use their musical virtuosity on poems by Greek and foreign poets, recalling past times when poetry held a prominent place in song. Recognizing their sensitivity and talent Maria Farantouri accepted the proposal to support their entry into the world of music, performing three of their songs. The CD is released as a book, adorned with sixteen works by the painter Vassilis Perros and including the work Attempt of Self-Defintion on the cover, and with the lyrics of the poems on its pages.
