A compilation of Greek poetic discourse, set to music by the greatest composers, and two important artists who for years now have built special bonds with poetry. Maria Farantouri has presented the contemporary Greek intellectual creation in the biggest theaters of the world, while her repertoire does not lack the international poetic discourse. For Dimitris Kataleifos, poetry is, together with music, the highest art form. And reciting a poem requires from the actor a form of interpretation corresponding to the theatrical role.

Before the start of the two musical performances, there will be special guided tours for the public in the exhibition “My Galaxy: Mikis Theodorakis”, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Athens Concert Hall and the Music Library “Lillian Voudouri” of the Friends of Music Association.
