Collection of songs composed for Greek movies. Maria Farantouri interprets the song It’s raining in the Slum from the film A neighbourhood named The Dream directed by Alekos Alexandrakis. Mikis Theodorakis composed the music. When the film was released, in 1960, came across to opposition from the police state because of the leftist messages it expressed. Entering to cinemas screening the film was banned by police authorities and riots broke out. In the film the song was performed by Grigoris Bithikotsis.
