2025 marks the centenary of the birth of Mikis Theodorakis and the Thessaloniki State Orchestra welcomes the New Year with two concerts featuring the ballet suite Greek Carnival and selected songs performed by the ideal interpreter of Theodorakis’ works, Maria Farantouri.
