Greece, Athens, Megaron Moussikis, Alexandra Trianti Hall
Friday, 13 March 2026, 20:00
Two great voices sing the collective memory of Hellenism. Two prominent performers trace the unique musical and poetic landscape of Greek art-song in a special concert with the contribution of two exceptional musicians. Maria Farantouri and Tassis Christoyannis interpret songs by Manos Hadzithakis, Dionyssis, Savvopoulos, Manos Loizos, Michalis Gregoriou, Heleni Karaindrou and by younger song-writers accompanied by the pianist Achilles Wastor and flutist Stathis Karapanos.
A special performance is also taking place: the interpretation of the work The Survivor by Mikis Theodorakis and Takis Sinopoulos, by the young actresses Lygeri and Calliope Mitropoulou, taught by the director Theodoros Terzopoulos.
