Maria Farantouri is the great interpreter of classic Greek songs, as written by Mikis Theodorakis. The composer, in turn, drew on many poems by his compatriot Yannis Ritsos (1909-1990). Today, Maria Farantouri honours Ritsos on his 100th birthday. She is accompanied by George Dalaras.
