Maria Farantouri’s new release enriches Greek discography with 18 songs by Manos Hadjidakis and Mikis Theodorakis, featuring excellent interpretations. Her collaboration with Yiannis Vakarelis, who accompanies her on piano, has yielded a revealing result, in my opinion, not only of the artistic value of the songs (…) but also of the interpretive power and talent that distinguishes both artists.
