The article is a review of the concert of M. Farantouri at Frankfurter Hof, in Mainz, in 18.11.2001.

Maria Farantouri is not only an iconic figure but a great singer, whose even now wonderful voice and enchanting concerts lead to solemn experiences. A look at one of her concerts in Mainz proves this. Even if the Greek audience had prevailed, her concert would have been an outstanding event for the local cultural scene.
