A collection of MINOS EMI’s greatest hits from 1965, released on CD in 1994. Maria Farantouri on her first professional recording, which, at the time, was released on a 45–rpm disc. The CD contains a very interesting note by the journalist and researcher of popular song Panos Yeramanis on the New Wave – a music movement that made its appearance that year. There is also a diary of the most important artistic, social and political events of 1965.

Like a sweet grandfather telling stories to his grandchildren, Mikis Theodorakis sings these songs with sensitivity and tenderness, addressing young children, but also older ones who still retain the essential innocence to listen to him. All the songs contained in this CD were written between 1937 (The little ship) and 1952 (In the Store Window, Lullaby), at the age of 12 to 27 years old.

Para-phrases are the music Vangelis Katsoulis composed for the film Dancing on Ice by Stavros Ioannou. Later, when this music was to be released, the composer recorded some extra tracks as freer depictions of the climate of the movie. The song Beyond the Bounds interpreted by Maria Farantouri is the title song of this film.
