Irish Wings IV – The Hostage

The Paxos Festival organizes an homage to the Irish poet and writer Brendan Behan and invites Maria Farantouri to sing songs from his work The Hostage set to music by Mikis Theodorakis and adapted in Greek by Vassilis Rotas. Host of the evening is the Pulitzer awarded Irish poet Paul Muldoon presenting to the Greek audience the legendary group of Celtic rock Horslips and the Irish virtuoso fiddler Martin Hayes.
